As the fall season approaches, so do the many festivities! To help you determine which adventures to go to in East Aurora this autumn, we’ve discovered these top three that you cannot miss!
Nothing quite beats the change in the leaves, the climate shift, fresh food, and good, laid-back music. There’s certain things that everyone should experience once in their lifetime and one of these events is it. The bands are coming to town and practically every vegetable/fruit is available to grab at the farmer’s market: here are the deets!
Alright, first of all, let’s appreciate the Borderland Music Festival tagline: “A festival beyond boundaries.” Now, that sounds epic! This music + arts festival is kicking off the fun on Saturday, September 21 and rallies out until Sunday, September 22. There will be lots of awesome experiences to jump into all around the Knox Farm State Park. This two-day festival’s purpose is to dive into the cultural and musical accomplishments of the Buffalo Niagara region. There will be several artisans exhibiting their craft throughout the entire schedule, farm-to-table feasting, best booze in all the land, and (quite literally) a land for kids!
Don’t get us started on the music. This line-up is NEXT level! With over 20 artists and musicians hitting the stage, it’s going to be an adventure that you’ll remember forever! Learn more about the line-up here. Grab your two-day tickets for only $125! This is going to be a life-changing event you don’t want to miss.
This is for all the foodies out there! Nothing beats fresh produce that serves and supports local businesses in the area. The East Aurora Farmers Market is one you don’t want to miss! The Farmer’s Market has been providing fresh veggies and fruits to the locals since the first Saturday in May! They will continue to serve all customers until the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. If you haven’t had the chance to check out this huge farmer’s market, add it to your calendar!
Every Wednesday and Saturday from 7am to 1pm, you can stock up on the freshest, locally-grown produce located at the Aurora Village Shopping Center in East Aurora, New York.

Last but certainly not least, the Roycroft Campus Fall Festival is the perfect way to kick off the end of the month. On Saturday, September 28, Roycroft Campus is hosting a fall festival that will feature over 50 artists, a variety of vendors, and of course food and drinks!
The Roycroft Campus is filled with gorgeous scenery where you can watch fall appear right before your eyes. It’s perfect for the entire family! There will also be live animals- who doesn’t love that?! It’s definitely going to be a #PictureWorthy event. It’s an all-day affair; this event will be open to the public from 10am- 5pm. Visit the website to learn more!
Do you know what makes these events even more exciting? How about the fact that they’re all just minutes away from Vidler’s! So after you’re done jamming out at Borderland, picking up the weeks groceries at the Farmer’s Market or meandering the beautiful Fall Festival, end the day with some old-fashioned fun at Vidler’s!
Well, there ya have it, folks! You will have a fun-filled month ahead of you if you attend these epic adventures! Mark your calendars for at least one, if not all of them! There’s no way you’ll regret it. Happy fall, yall!
